It’s the first Saturday of the month and you are looking for something different to do on a beautiful Maui evening. Capische? restaurant of Wailea and Kai Kanani have partnered up for a themed sunset cruise on the first Saturday of each month.

Starting last month, Chef Christopher Kulis of Capische? joined us aboard the Kai Kanani for a French themed event. While sailing on the clear blue Wailea waters, we sampled many of the savory items he had prepared for us. Absinthe cured kamapachi, steamed mussels, pork belly and grilled tako were among the many items on the menu. Chef Christopher and Tara paired these excellently with French wines which brought out the flavor of the delicious delicacies.

We are excited for the month of December to be hosting a Spanish themed event. We look forward to another expert pairing of wines and fine food which will include Ono brandade, poached snapper, slow cooked short rib and more. Especially nice is Chef Chris can work with dietary restrictions and change the menu if needed.

As always on the Kai Kanani sunset cruise we have live music played by Brother Dwight.  His various music styles brings smiles to passengers of all ages.  Our hospitable crew is always nearby with a refreshing beverage or just to answer questions about the Islands.
