Take a tour of the Kai Kanani!

Sailing, snokeling

Check out the fresh-from-dry-dock Kai Kanani 2! Every year our captains and crew spend a couple weeks working hard painting, sanding and cleaning  Kai Kanani 2 and getting her ready for the return of the Pacific Humpback whales. Now she is back and ready to go and here’s a special tour for you, our family and friends – Kai Kanani 2, just as you’ll experience her on your tour!

Kai Kanani Beach LoadingKai Kanani 2 is a beach loading boat, which means we pull right up to Maluaka Beach at the Makena Beach & Golf Resort  and walk through the water to board the vessel.  Our crew is here to assist you. Just grab a handrail for easy access up the stairs.StepsOnce aboard you’ll find yourself on the bow, where there is seating on the nets or benches by the windows.

Because we are probably going to do some sailing!

Kai Kanani Sailing

Our tours start at daybreak and continue through to sunset, to fit any schedule.

The Molokini Express gives our guests the opportunity to see amazing  sunrises over Haleakala and is the first snorkel tour to Molokini. The Molokini Deluxe is a longer, extended trip featuring lunch and adult beverages.

For those who want to be on the water but not in it, we have Sunset Cruises with heavy appetizers, an open bar and live music.

Once a month we also offer the #KaiCapische sunset cruise with Chef Christopher Kulis of The Market Maui by Capische.

In addition, Whale Watch tours are offered during our winter months when over 10,000 Humpback Whales come to Hawaii.

Private charters are available for special occasions or if you just want to have the boat to yourself.

Give us a call at our Kai Kanani retail store in Wailea and we would be happy to book your charter and answer any questions you may have.  See you on the water!
