Cancellation and Refund Policy

1 – 3 PERSONS
For groups of 3 or less persons, notification of cancellation must be received by phone at (808) 879-7218 at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour time. Parties adhering to this policy will receive a full refund. Any notice given with less than 24 hours remaining before the tour time will NOT be considered valid and NO refund will be offered.

4 – 5 PERSONS
For groups of 4 or more persons, notification of cancellation must be received by phone at (808) 879-7218 at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour time. Parties adhering to this policy will receive a full refund. Any notice given with less than 48 hours remaining before the tour time will NOT be considered valid and NO refund will be offered.

6+ PEOPLE
For groups of 6 or more persons, notification of cancellation must be received by phone at (808) 879-7218 at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled tour time. Parties adhering to this policy will receive a full refund. Any notice given with less than 72 hours remaining before the tour time will NOT be considered valid and NO refund will be offered.

Cancellations made after the grace period for your group size will result in a 100% charge being incurred (no refund). All cancellations will incur a 3% processing fee.

Taxes & Fees

Kai Kanani calculates and adds the following taxes, totaling 7.166%, to the cost of all of its tours:

State of Hawaii General Excise Tax – 4.166%

Department of Land & Natural Resources Harbor/Mooring Fees 3%
