Dear Kai Kanani,
Our family had dreamed of coming to Hawaii for several years now. The timing was right with the kids all now in their teens. Even compared to the other islands and trips we took, our day with your crew stood out as our best day. The dolphins were so unbelievable. Thanks for taking so much pride in what you do, it shows!

Captain Rog,
The Kai Kanani should be called the Kai "Kanaio" Queen. What a day! I can't believe some of the places you took us. At dinner that night, we met and talked with another couple who were leaving. After chatting, they definitely felt they missed out on something special by not taking advantage of having the Kai Kanani right there all week. Please tell your staff how much we appreciated the way they handled that one little situation with our daughter...we couldn't have asked for more professionalism.

After we load from the sand in front of the Maui Prince Hotel, we'll take a pleasant 15 minute ride out to Molokini. Molokini Crater was designated a bird and fish sanctuary in 1977 and is one of Hawaii's top snorkel and dive destinations.
We'll moor inside the the crater and take time to snorkel and explore all this location has to offer. We provide everything you need for snorkeling, including flotation devices, one-on-one instruction and the fins, masks & snorkels, of course! After snorkeling at Molokini we will depart for La Perouse Bay and/or the Kanaio Coast.
En route we will have a healthy and bountiful lunch and occasionally we are greeted by spinner dolphins. Spinner dolphins are Maui's most common dolphin species and are named for their famous jumping and spinning behavior. *When we are lucky enough to see the dolphins, they also seem to love to ride our wake, even jumping over and over again while racing alongside us. Almost everyone agrees who is lucky enough to have the dolphins visit with us, that they are one of the highlights of the day.
Sometimes, during whale season, we'll be lucky enough to see the dolphins and the whales on the same day. In fact, during whale season, our Deluxe trip ends up being a whale watching trip in addition to a Maui snorkeling adventure.
The Kanaio Coast is an pristine area of Maui that few people get to see and enjoy. It's essentially inaccessible by land. It consists primarily of Maui's most recent major lava flow over 200 years ago. The lava has created an incredibly interesting coastline full of little bays and coves. After snorkeling the Kanaio Coast and/or La Perouse Bay, we will set sail for the Maui Prince and have you home by 1pm.
