Experience Maui's Humpback Whales Like Never Before

The shallow basin between the four islands of Maui County (Maui, Lanai, Molokai, and Kahoolawe) is also the number one destination for Maui's most famous visitor, the magnificent Humpback whale! Migrating from Alaska to these warm Hawaiian waters, the Humpbacks come here each year to mate and give birth to their young. Our marine naturalists will share the latest scientific understandings about these fascinating creatures, as well as their own personal experiences with whales, and you will see up close* the fascinating behaviors that make Humpback Whales so much fun to watch! Our 2 hour Maui Whale Watch trips are offered daily (in season) and guarantee whale sightings.

Maui Whale Breach* Humpback whales are an endangered species protected by Federal law, and approach limits specify no closer than 100 yards under power. However it is not uncommon in these whale-dense waters for whales to closely approach, and even surround, our boat! Whales, it seems, don't read the Federal statutes!
